I'm Mykhailo Babkin. Most people call me Misha.
I'm a software engineer and independent consultant based in Toronto. Alongside my work at AIR Media-Tech, I work directly with businesses and handle technical delivery for Creativeo.
Before engineering, I worked in marketing, sales, QA and product management.
Working together
Show me the process as it works today, including the spreadsheets and the steps between tools. From there, we can decide what to change first and how we'll know it works.
The work might be a CRM migration, a reporting tool or an integration that removes manual updates. We agree the scope and a fixed price before I start. I build it, test it with the people who will use it, and document how it works.
Pricing
A first project usually costs $3,500 to $5,000 USD. The quote covers an agreed piece of work, with a clear way to check that it's finished.
Larger engagements can be split into phases. We review the completed phase before agreeing the next one. If the scope changes, I quote the additional work separately.
Ongoing support and development is optional, at about $2,000 USD a month, depending on the work involved.
If the scope needs investigation first, I can start with a paid review. You get a written account of what needs fixing and estimated costs. That review is quoted separately, and you can use the findings whether or not I do the implementation.
